+ When can I rent the facility?

Choose from a 10am - 3pm rental or a 5pm - 10pm rental, daily. Rentals may be scheduled a maximum of six months in advance.

+ What is the fee?

Weekday mornings (10am - 3pm) = $200.00 + a refundable $100.00 damage deposit

Evenings and weekends (choose from 10am - 3pm or 5pm - 10PM) = $400.00 + a refundable $100.00 damage deposit.

Businesses with a valid 501c3 may rent the facility at a discounted rate of $200.00 for nonprofit events.

A nonrefundable down payment of $200.00 is required to secure the date and is applied toward the total cost. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the event.

To ensure that we have scheduled/staffed appropriately, a $50.00 overage fee is applied, for every 15 minutes the facility is utilized beyond the agreed upon rental time.

+ What is included

The rental fee includes up to 10 - 66'' round tables, up to 80 white garden chairs, as well as 8' x 30'' banquet tables and 30'' round (42'' high) cocktail tables. Whiting Forest staff members will take care of setup/tear down of these items. Linens, decorations, and serving utensils are not provided.

Rental includes use of a catering kitchen facility including a refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, stove top, and warming oven. This equipment is intended for keeping food heated and chilled. Grills, griddles, food trucks, deep fryers, roasters, and/or food carts are not permitted on the property. Crock pots and chafing dishes are welcome.


+ Is there AV equipment available?

Staff members will setup a screen and projector, upon request. A wireless microphone may be available at an additional cost of $30.00 (please inquire.)

+ Can we decorate?

Decorations are welcome. For safety reasons, items may not be hung higher than a height reachable without climbing aids. Items may not be hung from the ceiling. Climbing on chairs, ladders, or tables is strictly prohibited. No wall penetrations shall be made. Items may be affixed with standard (non double sided) scotch tape. Larger items must receive approval (in writing) in advance. This includes, but is not limited to, beverage stations, food carts, bubble machines, space heaters, wedding arbors, photo booths, and play equipment. Staff members reserve the right to refuse any equipment. Feel free to check with us beforehand should you have a question about something you plan on bringing in.

+ Can we invite vendors?

Vendors (caterers, photographers, musicians, rental company, etc) must adhere to the terms of our guidelines, and it is the client’s responsibility to share these guidelines with them. Set up for your event may not begin before the contracted rental time on the day of your event. Any vendor, caterer, or other guests that arrive early to begin setup before the designated setup time will be asked to return at the appropriate setup time. Decorations, supplies, rentals, musical instruments, and/or other items are not permitted on site prior to the contracted rental time. These items must be removed prior to the conclusion of your event.

+ Is alcohohol permitted?

Renters serving alcohol must comply with all local regulations. Alcohol is permitted on site but may not be sold in any way, shape, or form. Tickets may not be sold to any event serving alcohol (including, but not limited to donation-based ticketing).


+ Is the facility private?

Whiting Forest is open to the public daily. Our staff will do the best they can to deter visitor interuptions, but public access will be maintained during these times.


+ How many people can it accomodate?

Whiting Forest has a capacity of 80 individuals. Extra tables and chairs, beyond those provided, are not permitted.
