Whiting Forest Wedding Information

Property:
Whiting Forest is comprised of 40 acres and focuses on native plants and forests of mid-Michigan. Visitors enter the forest through the Information Center and follow the rugged paths throughout the forest.
Patio Wedding Area:
Able to accommodate up to 50 guests. 20 chairs are included in the price and up to 30 additional chairs may be rented for $1 each. Electricity and changing room included.
Interpretive Shelter Wedding Area (in forest):
Unlimited guests, standing room only (no chairs). No electricity. Changing room included. Signs will be posted to direct wedding guests to the wedding area.
Fee: $200
Billing:
Nonrefundable deposit of $50 is required at booking and remaining balance is due six weeks before the ceremony.
Rain:
The Information Center may be rented as a backup in case of inclement weather for a $50 fee.
Receptions:
We have space for a medium-size reception, limited to 60 people. Please contact us for rates and further information.
