The Gardens are unique and beautiful in each season. While one visit is impressive, the gardens are best experienced by repetitive visits to experience the seasonal changes.
Spring
The gardens come alive in April and May with color from our extensive plant collection. The landscape opens with blooms from magnolias, forsythia, spring bulbs, and more! Bonus: Butterflies in the Conservatory add additional color from mid-March through mid-April.

Summer
The colorful flower show continues with a profusion of blooms throughout the gardens.

Autumn
Colorful foliage is highlighted in the gardens.
Cooler temperatures make the gardens a perfect destination for an autumn walk. Enjoy the fall foliage in early autumn and the textures of the trees as the leaves fall away.
Winter
Don’t forget the gardens are open year round with a spectacular winter landscape!
In December, the warm conservatory is filled with many varieties of Poinsettias. The colorful display includes a stunning poinsettia “tree.”
January & February
- Lush green plants fill the Conservatory. Plus, stunning orchids typically bloom in February.
- Snowy “winter wonderland” scenes fill the landscape.
- The landscape is anything but drab with the various colors and textures of the deciduous plants intermingling with the evergreens.
- Highlights: Paperbark Maple, River Birch, Paper Birch, Scotch Pine, and colorful Crabapple fruit.
