FREEZING AND BLANCHING

Learn about blanching and freezing in the Children’s Garden.  Lisa Treiber, Food Safety Extension Educator from MSU Extension will be providing a blanching and freezing demonstration, explaining how easy it is to preserve your summer produce.  Learn the techniques and times required to properly preserve the wonderful flavors of the season and receive materials to use at home.
