New! What did you see?
We feel there is so much going on at the gardens it would be impossible for any one person to see it all. Our new display will attempt to capture what is happening in the gardens throughout the year. Be sure to check our photos to see what you might have missed. We also encourage you to take photos of your visit so that we might include them in our display.
Email your digital pictures to gillis@dowgardens.org. Depending on your camera, you may have to reduce the size of your pictures for emailing. Please submit your photos in a timely fashion so that we might keep our display current. Photos may be edited for content and composition.

While the Dow Gardens is over 100 years old, the gardens plant record system got a late start essentially beginning with Alden Dow’s involvement in the mid-1970’s. Since that time every tree and shrub added to the gardens has been documented and mapped. Join Horticulturist, Rich Gills, throughout the season for a different look at our accessioned plant collection.
