Summer Seasonal Grounds Crew Member
General grounds work in a public garden environment. Work may include mowing, weeding, planting, pruning, and other landscape tasks, under the direction of a supervisor. Responsible for completing assigned work properly and efficiently. Comply with weekly employee work schedules. Other duties may be assigned.

High School graduate. Valid driver’s license required. Qualified candidate must be able to operate hand tools and power equipment. The ability to perform manual labor under varying weather conditions is required. Internship, Special Focus
The internship program will be an enhancement of real-world horticultural skills, hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of work associated in a public garden. The intern will have the opportunity to rotate through full time staff assisting with a wide variety of garden and event tasks. They will also complete a special project or enroll with a certain educational focus. Before departure, a presentation of their developed skills and knowledge will be presented to our staff.
